Could something be about to break? Two reasons,

someone over at the PD asked Brad about VH at the MTV 20th anniversery. To me and a few others, Brad's responce seemed to leave an opening. His responce was "VH won't be making any announcements on the show...."

Maybe it's just me, but of the few times Brad has answerd a VH related question of this nature, i've never seen him do it with an open ended sentence like this. Could they be making an appearance?

Also, in another topic started about Extra's interviewing Eddie's golfing buddy that did the article in Max. Golf magazine. The poster stated some comments made by Eddie's friend commenting that Eddie said it was the lawyers holding things up and that a new album would be out with Roth. Well, Brad's only post in the thread was, "They interviewed his friend?". It almost seemed to me that Brad was caught off guard. Its like I could see Brad getting on the phone right away to Eddie saying, "man, i have been going through hell for the band and not saying a word and telling everybody at the PD that they will be the first to hear, you better not screw me!"

Consider his track record of how he disseminates 'information'. Once you've done that, you soon learn to stop trying to read into anything he says. I honestly don't think he knows anything.

I don't think Brad has direct contact with the band, more likely through Scotty Ross or someone like that.

Two more reasons?

1) That Dave & Ed BOTH state that they're just sittin' around waitin' for the other one to pick up the phone I find hard to swallow, which in turn makes the Oliver Stone in me think "Smokescreen"

2) That these statements are at odds with that interview on Extra a WB run TV programme last night that stated Eddie was "about to release a new album, AND was trying to contact Roth about 'performing'"

That's got the rest of me thinking "Smokescreen"

I was watching VH1 BTM on John Lennon last night and it talked about how his last album was "secretly" recorded and then available in stores 2 months after it was picked up by Geffen.

The thing that makes me go "hmmm" is the fact DLR has so much time off between his shows.

Seems to me, 20+ days is plenty of time to fly back to LA and lay down some tracks....
