Individual Right to Possess Firearms
DC v. Heller Supreme Court released the opinion just now...haven't read it totally through yet...but from what i hear Justice Scalia wrote the opinion in a 5-4 right v. left decision...stating that the 2nd Amendment protects the individual right to possess firearms...

Bottom line is that anytime you own a gun you increase your chances of hurting yourself or someone else.

And I realize DC has alot of problems, but not allowing law abiding citizens the carry and conceal seems beyond dumb.

At least the SCOTUS got this decision right.
Now if they would only rethink their decision on child rapists and the death penalty.

I still can't follow the logic in outlawing gunlocks for rifles. If a guy is breaking into your home, what are you going to reach for-a handgun or a rifle?

Subjective matter I suppose, but my firearms were designed to defend. Automobiles were specifically designed for transportation but sometimes they kill. Go figure. And statistically speaking, you are more likely to injure yourself or die if you have a swimming pool in your back yard, more than if you have a firearm in the dresser drawer.Know Roth

I was responding about items in a garage. Granted some people keep the items you listed in the garage as well, but none of the items listed will cause the kind of a damage a gun can do instantaneously.
Most of the news stories reported involve people using guns in sinister ways and/or kids shooting themselves by accident. I rarely hear about how someone protected themselves with a gun when faced with an intruder or assault type situation.
BTW...as fucked as he might be John Bobbitt is still alive.

Should I hide the picnic table to be safe too?
[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]
The problem is not that Al said CVH is better. He's said the opposite, too. It's ok. Like Dave obviously prefers his own era, but recently, he's said that "VH had many great alumni" and was willing...
