Middle of summer here, our xmas is a bit different to you northern hemispere VH fans.

Heres our plan for xmas day

-sleep in, get up and have a swim (well the girls do).. I cook ham and eggs on the BBQ and drink beer

-Do the pressy thing

-Xmas lunch is gonna be a fucking big bag of prawns (shrimp). Pig out. and drink beer

-swim in the afternoon, forcast is in the 85F (30C) region here for monday

-xmas dinner is roast pork and beer

plenty of swimming, drinking and laying around spread out through the day. not a snowflake within about 50000 km or so!!

Oh yeh. And goo will be sneakin some VH onto the stereo too

Sweet set-up Goo.

I'm in the the Great Midwest, where it's -40 windchill and 40 inches of snow on the ground... all of it landing in the last 10 days.

But anyways, I hope all of you here have the best holiday season for you and yours!!

Gonna have mashed potatoes, a big old turkey, and a prime rib (or so i'm told LOL). And, of course, beer.

Which beer, though? This is important stuff, man. Could it be Saranac Pale Ale? Accompanied by Saranac Lager? Side by side with Saranac Black And Tan?

(How about, "all of the above" ???

My plans: Sleep in, play the video games I got as gifts until later afternoon, then go to the family gathering until the evening, talk to the girlfriend before bedtime, then go to bed.

My do the gift thing the night before.

Man, what's it going to be Monday? Like 12 degrees or something?

Windchills of -40 (that's F or C, your choice) are making cheeks rosy and red here in Minnesnowta. I'll do plenty of travelling and visit family on both Xmas eve and Xmas. There's no beer involved, but perhaps some Norweigen treats. Who knows what's being cooked? All I know is I'm probably on the dish detail.
