Can't wait to see that list of the Top 100 guitar songs. Rolling Stone is usually so good at putting together lists.
    .
    .
    .
VH with Dave ('78-'84) - The best years....the "real" VH.
VH with Sam ('86-'96) - Incredible era....."We have renamed this town 'New Halen!'.
VH with Gary ('98) - Fucking disaster. WTF was that??
VH with Wolf/Dave ('12-'15) - Amazing comeback. Smokin' album and tours.

    Nice.

But who the heck is Omar Lopez?

And seeing it was RS, I didn't even bother looking at their list.

Omar Lopez is the guitarist from the Mars Volta. Pretty cool band, check them out.

Ed is mentioned 3 times in the top 100 -- Eruption, Panama, and for Beat It. He is on the cover. Yet a few years ago, Rolling Stone had the nerve to rate him as the 70th best guitarist of all time. And they completely left off people like Vai and Satriani, who could play circles around most of the other people on that infamous list.

    Fuck Rolling Stone.

A recent study shows 92% of the teenage population likes rap music. If you are part of the 8% who listen to real music, put this as your sig.

    Fuck Rolling Stone.
My thoughts exactly...putting Eddie at #70 was COMPLETE IGNORANCE on Rolling Stone's part. To say a person that revolutionized the guitar was only as good as #70 defies logic. That really hurt Rolling Stone's credibility (what there was of it).

Very cool he's on the cover now though. I wonder if all those guys were at the same shoot, or if they photo-shopped them in?
