i though the album sammy did with ed in 1986/87, currently titled i never said goodbye, was originally called loud and clear but was changed after a mtv competition. hence the winner was the before said title. i can't say this for sure and any clarification on this is appreciated.

on a different note, i hope things in the usa are getting back to some sort of normality, as hard as this is to imagine. look after yourselves and lets together, as a global community, stamp out this form of terror. i know it may be hard, but please don't hate the entire race because of the actions of some...remember, hatred is what drives this kind of madness. justice instead of revenge. god bless.

Actually, the album was just called, "Sammy Hagar," which caused some confusion with an earlier album of his by the same name.

Boy, here is an album that needs to be re-released. What do you figure we got here, seven or eight more sales?

And god yeah they should remaster it, with a new singer, and probably a new band.

Nothing against the Samster here, but c'mon Sam, give me a break.

Next thing you know we're going to get the freakin' opera version of "Give to Live."

You know though, in certain circles, I'm betting that it would sell. Perhaps if done in some kind of Monkish Chant of some sort, or turned into a nice rap.

I celebrate Van Halen when it makes sense, and when people understand what Van Halen truly is. Sammy Hagar solo crap it isn't.

Um, just to let you know, Sammy has nothing to do with this re-issue. Sammy lost the rights to all of his Capitol material when he broke his contract with them to go to Geffen. So anything that Capitol releaseed after 1981 was not authorized by Sammy, thus you see some kind of capitol re-issue every couple of years.
So don't dog Sam for this, dog Capital records. [img]smilies/biggrin.gif[/img]
