Kind of hard to get people to buy your CD when it is not in stores. In my area, I tried both Targets, both Walmarts, both Wherehouse Music's, Circuit City, Best Buy, Barnes and Noble, and Sam Goody. Sam Goody had the sign for it but no copies.

I also asked at each location. They all showed it in their databases, but showed no copies in stock. Sam Goody could't explain having a sign and a sale price but no copies of the CD.

I'd love to support Gary, and what I heard of the album was interesting, but because of that, I spent my CD allowance on something else. OH well

Internet...that's how I'm getting mine. I ordered it last night. I'm having the same problem around here as well...it sucks. I'm considering trying the local Sam Goody but seeing how I go to college in a town surrounded by nowhere, I seriously doubt I'll find a copy.

If you are around Boston, Gary's cd is at Newbury Comics. I saw it there yesterday, but just couldn't buy it. I still have my doubts.

You won't be disappointed in this purchase. Don't hesitate, go buy it.
The TOJ record is excellent..no need to compare to Extreme, Halen, whatever. This band stands on it's own quite well.
Enjoy!

I like to call TOJ, EXHALEN
Thats what it sounds like to me, a cool blend of 2 excellent groups.

You might have to look under CHERONE too, the dorks at Strawberries found nothing on their computer today for Tribe... So then I said try Cherone, and low and behold!! They had it -ONE- <LOL> Came in on Tuesday, but she could not find it... It was still behind the counter...

Anyhow - one thing's for sure, the production is FAR superior to VHIII... Looking forward in seeing TOJ Live again next weekend! Although Mike Mangini on drums will be missed... But, who knows maybe that Godsmack dude might be good?!?!

Later!

Suprisingly in St. Louis, I was able to find TOJ under Gary Cherone's Tribe of Judah, but no Sammy to be found. For a huge Sammy market like St. Louis to not have his CD really shows the lack of distribution of Sammy's new label.

Why didn't Sammy release Not 4 Sale under his Cabo Wabo label again?

btw...after listening to TOJ a few times, I really wish VH would have finished the second album with Gary. I'm really curious to how it would have sounded.

I hope Gary and Ed work together in the future in some capactiy, only with Gary having control of the mix of his vocals.
