Probably in the wrong place - not sure what the right place, but I know there have occasionally been times when we've wondered what people like Ted Templeman, Donn Landee & Ray Danniels look like. Well, I put on the Doobie Brothers Stampede and after I put the record on I just happened to glance at the jacket which was face down and there on the back cover are pictures of Ted and Donn. As far as I know the Doobie Brothers never got involved with Ray Danniels! Unfortunately I don't own a scanner, so you'll just have to take my word for it - or if you have a used record store in your area see if they have a copy and check for yourself!

I believe the guy in front with the immensely blond hair is Ted Templeman. Ted was one of the members of Harpers Bizarre. If the picture doesn't work, go to Amazon.com and throw that band name into the search.

Also, when FUCK came out VH was featured in one of the guitar magazines and I'm almost sure there was a picture and small interview with Ted. I don't have it anymore, but if someone does, fire away.

From my picture I can't tell if it's the guy in the front or the guy in the lovely red leisure suit, but it's one of 'em.

bru77's picture is actually Captain Beefheart (in the funky hat) and Donn (I don't care what the caption says - I posted that picture here before!)

Yep that guy at the bottom with the bowl cut is Ted. I think some picture of him from a behind the music is floating around here as well. Obviously not THAT era, but his photo is here somewhere on the links. I'll let the people that are good at things like this post that pic. Out.
