My vote is that it's going to be Britney Spears. She's dating one of the twits from N-sych and they are (I think) also on the Super Bowl halftime show with Aerosmith.

Either way, I don't believe you'd see Van Halen there in a million years.

Ya know I don't want to ruin Super Sunday by hoping VH shows up and then being let down yet again. I highly doubt it will happen....but, I did read at superbowl.com that mtv is producing the event, and the spokesperson said there will be a few surprises

As for VH showing up at the superbowl, I think it would be the worst place for them to announce the reunion. I've already lost a lot of respect for Aerosmith (I think I heard they are playing ). Every half time show is lame, and poorly done. I would rather have a boy band lipsinc, since I won't be watching at halftime.

Correct me if I am wrong, but isn't the Superbowl demographic any male from 20-65. What in the hell would anyone from that deomgraphic want with BSB or N'stink??? Really does not make sense to me. None of the people I know (that fall within that age range) care about either of those groups. As for Aerosmith....sell out, power cheese music.

It makes sense, Ed was at the side of the state at an N'Sync show. Aerosmith is a hard rock band, even though they are selling out with this one.

I hope to God that VH DOESN'T do this at the SuperBowl!!! Please don't let the fans down with this one guys. Let's keep our fingers crossed that they don't go this route. We have too much respect for VH to see them lip-sync to a new song (or even worse an old song) and the song not coming across the speakers too well. What a crappy way to announce to the world a reunion.
