concert recording

lets assume that vh with dlr does come out with an album and does a tour. will anyone here try to record it? when these bootlegs come out and say that its a soundboard, what exactly does that mean? and does anyone know what type of recorder will get the best digital soud? and remember, it has to small enough to conceal.

There will be a huge industry in bootlegs for a reunion tour. The Japanese bootleg companies tend to hire "professionals' for these kind of tours - I wouldn't be surprised if several soundboard tapes "mysteriously" get leaked too

If you've never taped, I'd suggest you just enjoy the show and wait for the trading scene to be flooded with recordings.

only If the soundman Is Involved..
Most of these are leeched off of
foreign TV broadcasts or radio broadcasts..
and yes there will be alot of dat/mini disc
tapers.....It's no different than any other
band In demand.

What are you guys talking about? You mean some people actually record some of these shows then distribute them to hardcore fans? Hmmm...what an interesting concept.
