I just heard the song Blues Breaker from Starfleet Project with Eddie and Brain May and was Blown Away!, as I had never heard the song before. Awesome song.
Can someone help clarify who is playing rhythm and lead throughout the song. I almost always can identify Eddie's sound and style but he is playing a bluesy style that pretty much stays within the structure of the song. The only solo that I'm sure Eddie is playing starts at 4:43 of the song.
Cam someone please help this poor brother out? When you hear a song, it can make you remember what you felt, where you were and who you were with the first time you heard it. That's what music can do.

When I get into you, get into me...

Havenīt listened to it, for a long time. But i remember that Ed was on one stereo side, and Brian on the other. But unfortuanely i canīt remember whoīs on which side.
But thatīs a great thing about this project, turn the panorama knob on Edīs side, and you can hear the king of six strings and ten fingers, doing his solos and then backing Brianīs solos up with his amazing rhythm playing. Thatīs the best education a guitar player can get.

And by the way: If you dig this tune, you sure should check out the other jam he did with Brian called "Let me out". There is also some great guitar work on that!

Starfleet Project definitely contains a lot of Eddie's best playing. Let Me Out and Bluesbreaker are "standouts without a doubt".
Eddie's playing is instantly recognisable on the record I think, but I can't remember who's on which side of stereo.Use my hand, I won't look!

Eddie's the loud aggressive guitar and May's the one that's kind of laid back and mellow, if that helps.
