......THIS interview is interesting......he claims he not only got'em signed...he is what we are hearing on vh's debut....hey , i was a kiss fan and still em....but what a incredible record....i mean , does the sound of rock n roll get any better ?......i dont think they can duplicate that sound again....or maybe they dont want too...sombody hire simons !....people think...templeman , i think it was really simmons www.eddietrunk.com

Gene Simmons is about as responsible for the sound on Van Halen I, as Ace Frehley is for the classic guitar work on KISS' "Destroyer" album! (In case you don't know Ace wasn't around much during the recording of what is commonly regarded as KISS' greatest album)
