    You're kidding right?

    Gene Simmons is about as responsible for the sound on Van Halen I, as Ace Frehley is for the classic guitar work on KISS' "Destroyer" album! (In case you don't know Ace wasn't around much during the recording of what is commonly regarded as KISS' greatest album)

    Funny how Gene never mentions that he was only interested in Van Halen because he wanted Eddie to replace Ace as the guitarist in KISS!!
