I mean come on now its been 9 freekin months!! (16 years for the real VH fan) Do these guys even care about the fans anymore? I know that I'll be super-charged if and when a new VH album with Dave comes out,but right now Im all but spent on this shit. I hope for the Bands sake, They dont pull some Bullshit 4th singer thing after all this time!!I dont post very much, but I'm here every night.I enjoy reading everyones posts.I try not to post because I know I'll be too negative,But Im sitting here thinking to myself "I really need to get a life or something!!" why the hell do I give a shit anymore? VH sure does not seem too.......sorry guys but Im just really sick of this soap opera, and all these "insiders" that really dont have a clue whats going on in their own house let alone at 5150.......out!

Glenn you are right on my friend. I really tried not to sound that negative. Van Halen has been such a huge part of my life. Im 32 years old. I was 12 or 13 when I lied to my mom,and snuck into the Cleveland Music Hall to see VH open for Black Sabbath!! My life has never been the same!!LOL I just have such a deep passion for this band!! My coment about getting a life, was me just wondering aloud, am i flipin nuts or something? why do I care so much?....I know in my heart Daves back, but if he's not.........I'll be crushed like I was 16 years ago!!!!

When I was a sophomore in high school (we're about the same age, I see), my folks wouldn't let me catch the 1984 tour in Chicago. It sucked big time! One of my buds even snuck in a camera in the third row and snapped a pic of Dave with Ed right behind him on stage! I felt like I should have had a t-shirt made that said...

"My parents wouldn't let me go see Van Halen this year and all I got for it was this Stryper t-shirt!"

Bring on the CLASSIC VH!!!

While I know that those of you who have been exclusively devoted to Diamond Dave feel like you have waited fifteen years for a VH album, I come from the point of view as a guitar player and had managed to enjoy the Sammy years regardless. It might not have been David Lee singin' but it was still Eddie playin'! But since VH111, in spite of having a couple of cool moments, didn't sound like a VH album to me at all and I've felt like I've been waiting for a VH album since 1995!

Well. I don't mind the wait too much, cause they get that much more time to fine tune their thing.

I really think it's stupid though, not saying anything at all to the fans for the past whatever months.

i just really started to get into vh in 98 when i saw em then gary fuckin leaves or whatever and im like ok! the bands like a part of me now and this happens! i mean shit! 9 months is a long time! they gotta do something! i mean in 96 they went through 3 singers in like 2 months! i mean cmon!
