when i saw VH on the same tour, hardly anyone gave two shits about AIC. i've never seen more people walking around during an opening act since that night.

No, but I've seen them blow out their entire fucking sound system. I guess you could say they were kicking ass that night.

Not at the shows that I've been to. Although, Kenny Wayne Sheppard was one of my favorite opening bands. That kid can really play.

I seen them for the FUCK tour to, in St. Louis. AIC did rock pretty hard that night, but most people didn't know who they were just yet, I remember they opened with "Sea Of Sorrow", pretty cool.
But Van Halen absoulutly kicked ass, flat out! I can't imagine AIC blowing VH off the stage, but if ED was that drunk maybe they did.

I've never seen VH blown off the stage, even with Gary. Monster Magnet opened for VDIII and they were so pathetic that the singer resorted to making out with fat nasty chicks during songs. I almost spewed!

I saw them at the Rectum(spectrum) in Phila PA. AIC got booed off stage. After the concert, when most everyone had left, the lead singer was doin doughnuts in the parkinglot because he was so pissed off! When he pulled up I talked with him for a bit. He was pretty pissed, but I told him hey, this is Phila, probably one of the most fickle crowds you'll ever play in front of, give them some time, they'll come around! About a year or two later, all you heard being played in the Phila club scene was AIC! I think that was the last time he did Doughnuts in the parking lot!

AIC got a horrible reception when I saw them open up for VH too. Nobody liked them, this was before they got really big. I dug them though, I had their first album, but the audience didn't care for them at all.

Like ONE guy up in the front had a t shirt on and was moshn' to their shit and that was IT. The ongoing joke with me and a buddy after that was "no matter what happens man, at least we ain't fuckin monster magnet!"

I was at the same show seenbad, and we walked to find our seat, found it, walked right back out. We waited, as did most of the crowd, outside the main arena. Most people were in line for either beer or concert shirts and stuff.

Very cool Miah.
So, was it just me then, when I have said that Josephina was actually a pretty good song live? Or did you think that came off pretty cool too?sheepa latta peepah dabba looka foh a moopy

I saw AIC in St. Louis too during the F.U.C.K tour. The two things that stand out in my mind were the lead singer wearing a leather trenchcoat in the friggin summer and slamming down his mic at the end of the set. I think he was slightly pissed.
