Maxim Blender

There is an article in this months Blender (I think it is DMX on the cover) on Van Halen - near the back of the mag. It is basically a two page spread that details VH in two paragraphs - ending by basically writing them off [img]smilies/cry.gif[/img] . The rest of the pages summarizes all VH albums. The fav was VH1. It also mentions that VHIII was an Eddie solo album that sounded like a compilation of every shitty Sammy song. On the positive side - there is a way cool pic of Dave about a dozen pages prior to the article introducing it.

While I want to get angry and call Blender a fucking joke magazine saying something like they are full of shit - - - any doctor would say that if a patient hasn't had a pulse in three years - they are dead. [img]smilies/frown.gif[/img]

I'd say 78/79 - really early. It's a pic of Dave just following a concert - covered in sweat wearing nothing by (sheapskin??) chaps - with a "no sir, it wasn't me that fucked your daughter" look on his face. Man - he looked young!
