When Will You Hang Up the Reunion Dream?

Serious question... 6 years now give or take since Sam parted ways, Dave does a two-off, and Gary does a one-off album.

At some point the obsession with some form of a Van Halen reunion will slip away...

When will you be ready to let it go?

Personally speaking I let it go 5 years ago but I thrive on change unlike a lot of folks. Frankly the back-biting, bickering, bashing, fighting amongst you folks entrenched in either the Dave or Sammy camps has become my sick-minded daily amusement... even that is losing it's luster... too much of anything is not a good thing!

There are still people who believe Elvis is alive... I'm wondering if you reunionists are the next flock who will be preaching the return of DLR to Van Halen to their grandchildren 20 years from now...?

You know as much as I hate to say it.. I have to agree with this. We all sit around here hoping for something that apperantly isn't going to happen. I gave Ed the befefit of the doubt with his cancer and homelife, but 6 years?? Come on here, he refuses to utter a word to anyone regarding anything to do with their future. The only thing I have learned from this lost time is that Ed simply isn't interested in doing anything anymore or he would have shown us some sign of interest in the least. Sorry to sound so negative but its becoming a sad reality.

I'll hang on for as long as it takes. Maybe 2003 will be the year that Van Halen return from hibernation or maybe it will be just like 2000, 2001 and 2002-NO VAN HALEN. Say it ain't so Ed.
