When I saw The OU812 Tour in the fall of 1988 I remember Michael Anthony playing a bass similar to The "Jack Daniels" bass but it was a Tabasco paint job. Does anyone else remember this or am I going senile? Please don't tell me that The J.D. bass was re-painted. Does anyone have pics? Does he still own either of them? Thanks.

Mike BioEVH: Definitely. Playing guitar was my sanctuary. It was the one place I could go to if I got fucked around by a girlfriend, or anyone else, for that matter. It still is. If there’s something I can’t deal with, I can just spend hours playing. It’s a God-given gift – I certainly don’t know where the ideas come from. They’re obviously given to you, and you have to keep your fingers moving and your mind quiet. I try my best to not think about thinking, so I can just let it flow. Yes he still has the backup Jack Daniels bass... I think the original is in one of the Hard Rock Cafes. He used the backup on the 3 tour when he sang lead vocals on Somebody Get Me A Doctor.
About a month or so ago Brad mentioned that Mike was having a new JD bass built by the gang at Yamaha...
