Sammy on the radio

This is my first time posting to any of these sites. I thought I would now because I heard Sammy on the radio here in the bay area on Thursday morning talking about DLR's lawyers contactin him on Wednesday night. They had a list of things Dave didn't want Sammy doing on stage. Among them were, no pinata throwing stuff out on the stage, no bar theme (ala Cabo Wabo), and no girls bringing drinks out on stage.
Sammy said he couldn't believe that Dave would do that at this point. He also said that dave was crazy to think that he could make any kind of demands because if it wasn't for Sammy he wouldn't even be able to tour at all right now.....whatever that means.
I have been trying to find a transcript of the show but haven't had any luck.
Did anyone out there here this show? It was on last Wednesday morning in the San Francisco area. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to listen to the whole show so I'm sure I missed some good stuff.
But the bottom line was that the tone of the whole conversation was that the tour is off and Sammy was going to tour on his own.

hopefully the press conference that is supposed to happen this week will happen and answer maybe one or two questions for us

Sammy has always struck me as being a guy with a pretty damn good sense of humour. Could it be that he was just joking around?? I could hear him saying that in a joking way.

I don't think this Sam/Dave tour will ever fly.I'll go if it does, but it'll be weird.It just seems like a disaster waiting to happen.It's like ,if you get divorced and you start dating your ex-spouses former spouse...Then it would be like..."Ha Ha ,we're touring and Van Halen isn't!" (but were gonna play their songs to their fans!)

Since it is confirmed that the TOUR IS ON!! And that there will be a press conference with Dave and Sambo, this smells like BS to me...and even if Sammy said that Dave's Lawyers uhh requested that...I am sure Sam and DLR can work it out...

If the "tour is on" how come none of the official sites are talking?
Now lets hear the rant about how things are being "worked out".You honestly believe that they wouldn't have of confirmed it by now?! If we went by what ever "metalsludge" or whatever these sites say, we'd all be talking about how great that reunion show was....last year.
I'll believe it when I see it!

he does have apoint. if the news conference is supposed to be in less than 48 hours, how come it's not on either's web site?

Sammy's site also says there's a news update for April 12 but there isn't anything. Kinda strange.

If Dave and Sammy do hold some type of press conference on Tuesday, it will be on 4/16. Getting a little ahead of themselves, at least by about 4 days, but hey, it can be 4:20 anytime, anyday.
