No worries there. When Dave comes back, they can just leave it Van Halen. Hagar is the only one out of that whole bunch that ever referred to the band as Van Hagar. I do feel badly for Mike because he is truly friends with Sam and I respect that, but I am glad that era is over.

It's over no matter who comes back. Sammy and Dave are both prima donnas, fuck 'em both at this point. Both always felt they were bigger than the band.

Ed should go do an album with Al and Mike, call it Van Halen and stick the middle finger up to Dave and Sam. Who cares what it sells. I've lost a lot of respect for both Sam and Dave after their tour.

Likewise, neither Sam and Dave are that memorable without the VH name attached to them either. Both admitted it by playing shows of 90% Van Halen material between the two of them.
