Sammy on KSHE 95

Hi I was listening to kshe 95 st.louis only real rock station. And sammy hagar was on on the air, while on the air he called up Mike Anthony and talked to him on the phone. They said they are still great friends all of them eddie and alex included and hang out often. Did anyone else hear this on the radio.Sammy wished van halen the best of luck etc.

Interesting, and funny. I could not believe Mikey picked up the phone. He was a good sport.

What we all missed. Sammy just wanted to leave the band in 95 and do the Solo thing. Everyone agreed and figured lets cash in one last time. I.E. greatest hits album. Bring back Roth who incidentally was not in the best of shape vocally! No problem...hire a great producer and engineer. Create a great deal of controversy with the lead singer situation....He quite...fuck you, I was fired! Suprise appearence on MTV.......feud backstage.....There is no such thing as bad publicity......all this equates to 3 million sold. $$$$$$. Suprise to everyone Hagar, Edward, Michael, Alex.....they all still hang out. [img]smilies/devil.gif[/img]

Chain, are just speculating or what? I personally do not believe Sammy hangs out with any member of VH except Michael Anthony. And that's only a maybe. Your post makes this VH thing sound like one big publicity stunt. Sorry bud, but I have a hard time buying!

I meant they still keep in touch and there is not bad feelings with the band and sammy. I know they dont hang ou, as in go to the movies etc, but they do talk because they still are a family.

I didn't think Eddie wud hang 'round wit Bette Midler...well well well...Ooh well well...can't wait to not see Slappy Hoosgar in St. Louie tonight...couldn't stomach yet another trottin' out of molded mildew-ed numbers like WCTBL,DREAMS,and all the love love love toons...

I heard this interview, and not to sound contrary to the original post, I did not get the impression that Sammy was talking with the Van Halen "bunch" namely the bros.

I do believe that Sammy and Mike are still buds, but to say that he is talking with the Van Halens, is a stretch.

Again, this is just my opinion, I heard the interview and I did not get this impression.

All Sammy said was that he wishes the bros. well. He also said something to the effect of "I hope I dont get you in trouble Mike."
