Here's a story that Everyone might enjoy....

Let me start off by saying that I'm not trying to piss off any of the Sammy supporters with this true story. As a matter of fact the Sammy supporters will probably get a good kick out of it. I did too.

Here goes...

A good friend of mine is a P.D. and morning DJ here at my local station. Well he's had some bad experiences interviewing Sammy in the past and he's a DLR fan, so you could probably guess that he hates Sammy. Well, when Sammy's last two solo CD's came out he did a bit on his show where he blew up the cd's in a trash can out side...and says something like " Sammy's never sounded so good" Y'know the usual morning show stuff. Well evidently Sammy's "people" got wind of this and when they sent Ten13 to him it included a poster autographed by Sammy. It reads,

"Thanks for blowing up my last CD, You BLOW! Sammy."

A little revenge from Sammy. I thought it was funny as hell!! He's supposed to be puttin up the pic on their website. when he does I'll post it here.

Awesome story!

Sure Sammy has a sense of humor. I remember checking out Stern down in Orlando hearing him dig on Sammy on like a Tuesday then had Sam in on Wednesday and was major kissing ass and having fun w/him. He was saying stuff like "I only dog on the people who aren't here w/me in the studio". Sammy was just laughing about it all!

Sure enough, next day, Howard was back to doggin' Sammy...

Hell, when you get to the level Sammy is at, you'd have to learn to laugh at criticism or you'd die of ulcers. Someone's always going to be smacking you. Like Dave said, as soon as you stick your head above the crowd, someone will throw a rock at you.

*nods* yeh ,to survive in the entertainment biz you need to be able to handle criticism and laugh. All the great bands who have survived be it the Stones, Kiss, ACDC etc all get criticised heavily - yet they keep going successfully. You got to admire that.
