I dunno....after years of NOTHING, 3 mentions in 2 day's makes ya wonder.

......it's great ...these guys are the best at what they do , and i like to see them get the respect that they deserve....i have a feeling the dave & sam tour is a project to test the waters....instead of belting people on the head with a reunion tour ...this way every fan non-fan and grandparent knows the name van halen

Makes you wonder what? Yeah the publicity machine is rolling. It's rolling for the Song for Song tour which features Sam and Dave. To promote it they did the Howard Stern show yesterday. In totally unrelated news Alex Van Halen celebrated his 49th birthday, and Eddie made a statement about his health.

Why would VH need to test the waters, with a Sam and Dave tour? If they were gonna tour with Sam and Dave, they would do it. They would not need to send Sam and Dave out on some warm up tour.
