I've been listening to Van Halen boots all evening. Van Halen, Van Hager, even Van Halen III tour, and man, I got to say...

I FUCKIN' LOVE VAN HALEN! (not in that gay butt love way).

I don't care if they never do shit again. I don't care if they rack their fans in the balls. I don't care if Dave loses all his hair and Sammy talks shit. I don't care if I never see Alex Van Halen again.

I'm happy. These boots rock. I can live with this. It's some sweet ass tunage.

Either I've completely lost it, or I don't care anymore, or I've got life in perspective, but god damn this music rocks.

I've got nothing on cd from gary era. But the Video of dave 2002 camden NJ takes the cake! and of course US Fest 83.

There is a load of phenominal material they have given us. I happen to prefer all of the Roth era and the most of the MUSIC during the "other years". I personally cannot stand Hagar's voice, but that is just me. There is a lot of good music there that Roth could not have touched. I do hate the Dave versus "others" debate in that it takes away from the music as a whole. I was listening to the 1984 casette on the way home tonight and it just flowed so "coolly" if that is a word...
