Is this for real? How has it surfaced on the net if it is? Does anyone one know the story behind this?

I don't know how it surfaced, but a while back Sammy WAS writing a book that was stopped before it was completed. Speculation as to why was knocked around a few months back, but no one knows.

As far as we know, the chapters that have surfaced are indeed taken from the book, as in some instances they have had to be taken down for copyright purposes.
