I don't think the length of Dave's current tenure in VH is going to be decided by vocal strength. I want Dave back, Sam if Dave leaves, Gary if Sam leaves, and if they can't decide, wheel out the box set.

Sam has always had to live in the shadow of Roth only because Roth was an original member. What makes anyone think Sam would come back if Roth blows it again, which there is a high likleyhood of happening. Let's not loose sight of the fact that Eddie and the band penned the music to those so called "Love songs" Sam just wrote the lyrics. All of the DLR lovers refuse to admit or understand that. I do agree this subject has gotten old.

I reeeeeeally want Sammy back, but, I know that the best person for the band now, and the only choice for the band now, is Dave. I just don't know if anyone else could recapture the fans the same way that will.

Who would you rather have back, and who do you think would last longer with VH? Sammy is 53, but his voice is still in better shape than DLR's right now. Even though DLR's voice sounds great, and it is the best it's been in the last 5-8 years. It peronally doesn't matter to me who they get back unless Sammy decides to make a bunch more of those Love(Why Cant This, Walks in, etc) songs then I want Dave back. Hell If they can make a kick ass album with a 4th singer then that would be great too!!
