Just Read Dave's Book....

Wow, what a book!! Couldn't put it down. I wish I would have gotten it when it first came out, but my wife found it at the mall for four bucks. If there is anyone left who hasn't read it yet go get it. Funny how Dave and Sammy have the same opinion of that asshole Ray Danniels. Except Sammy goes into alot more detail than Dave does, but I'm sure Dave would have had he been around him more.

I read it a few years ago and then I got it for a birthday gift and should read it again. I wonder who doesn't think Ray Danniels is an asshole? Anyone?

That is the best book I ever read!

I have re-read it several times! You're right dp, Dave has the same opinion on Daniels as Sammy.

Having just read Frank Zappa's book called The Real Frank Zappa, I would venture to guess that Dave has read it too and was influenced by it's writing style. I found Crazy From the Heat to be the most uniquely styled music autobiography I'd ever read until I read Franks' book. I'd recommend checking out the Zappa book if you're a fan of his in any way. It's very scattershot and funny, much like Crazy From the Heat.
