Van Halen mentioned on Kilborn tonight!

Craig was interviewing Jenny Beal from Flashdance & she mentioned she was learning to play guitar. She said she was listening to "Van Halen's first album" over and over. She the went on to say, "he made that album when he was 17. The guy is a virtuoso, a god." I kind of tuned out, but I believe she was talking about Ed here.

I checked this out last night. First off, in screwing around before the guests Craig went over to a liquor cabinet and right there in front was a bottle of Cabo Tequila, which he picked up and said was there because Sammy Hagar was on recently.

Then in the interview, Jennifer said "it's my dream to be Eddie Van Halen". She said she'd picked up Van Halen 1 and had been listening to it, and that Eddie is a "God". Then she stated that Eddie was 17 when he recorded that album, but she looked great, and is a VH fan, so I'm prepared to forgive that error. [img]smilies/wink.gif[/img]

Craig again mentioned Sammy Hagar at this point, and then he played VH's You Really Got Me and tried to get Jennifer to air guitar to it.

I'm in Canada, I get it from a CBS affiliate from the northern states. KREM 2 is the station, which is out of Spokane I think. The show comes on at 1.30 in the morning.

Actually saw Flashdance :shame: at my girlfreinds a few weeks ago, the whole time I was thinking dammmmm she is HOT! why cant all welders look like her? Then I told my G-freind to dress up and dance around like a maniac.....Ooops a bit to much of info. [img]smilies/wink.gif[/img]
