So after playing in a band together for six years, dating for two and being engaged for one; Maria and I are getting married on December 1st. We're doing it at Disney because we have friends/family flying in from all over the country and it's extremely convenient.

Thanks, pal. Initially, we'd hoped to get down to New Orleans for a co-ed bachelor/bachelorette party and help rebuild some houses with Habitat for Humanity...and do some partying of course. But we ran out of vacation days (and funds). So we figured, we're both in our mid-30s, we already have two of everything - we're trying to figure out which toaster to keep and which one to give away - and our guests are spending money to get to Disney. So why not ask them to donate to a charity, if they want, instead of buying us a third blender, ya know?

The Katrina victims are real important to me. I just feel like they didn't receive half of the help that they should have. But there is already a lot of aid pouring in for housing, etc, and music is such a huge part of that regions culture...not to mention a way to escape tragedy and bring hope.

As for the American Cancer Society, Maria's mom died from cancer about 20 years ago. So I guess that's self explanatory.
