Ted used to work with my grandfather at the old Civil Defense office in Olympia. Everyone there thought he was a great guy. Probably because none of them ever took a ride in his Volkswagen.

Hmmm, well there are a few bands from here you may have heard of Pearl Jam, Nirvana and Jimmy Hendrix to name a few.

There's this coffee joint I hear is pretty popular called Starbucks that started here as well as some company that build planes called Boeing and I think there's a small software company over on the eastside called Microsoft as well.

Other than that we are just a bunch of tree hugging, caffiene addicted, microbrew swilling lumberjacks.

BTW, I used to work at the AM/PM built on the site of that bank several years ago. I only worked the graveyard shift there once, and then told the boss not to ever schedule me for nights there again. I swear some weird shit goes on there at night. Maybe it's different now that Rupe is dead, but I wouldn't want to do it again.

Small world....a girl I worked with just graduated from high school two weeks ago, moved to Wichita Falls the next day, is entering Midwestern in the fall, and her dad is in the Air Force. Have you by any chance met a guy who just transferred there from Pope named Grady?
