I was at that Mass show and it was awsome. Mike A. was there as well as Gary, Pat Badger and a few members of Boston. The when it's love is the version Sammy used on his live album. Great show!

Yep, I was there too! In the second freaking row! Yep, the members of Boston showed up on stage for "Dreams" along with Cherone. If I recall correctly, the general consensus was that Sammy "won" that night. I don't remember who I attended the show with; it might have been BrokenCombs? But the guy who made the bootleg was a hardcore DLR fan that insisted Dave's was the better performance. Anyway, DLR, Sammy and Gary were ALL in attendance that night, which is why it's called "Ex Halen . . ."

I was also at the Tinley Park show, of course! Another amazing night.

A big hello to everyone that missed me around the Forums. I used to be on the VHML back in its heyday, but I haven't been around much since I got my VH fix on the 2004 tour.

So are you guys OK with MP3s, or do you want CD-Rs mailed, or . . . ? I can do pretty much any format, I just don't know what the standard is. Haven't traded boots in years.

I remember you Maya. I met a bunch of you guys before the show. I had gone to the Sam and Dave tour the night before when they played meadowbrook farm in Gilford NH. I came down solo to see the Mass show because I knew Mike was supposed to be there. I thought Sam was better that night as well. I like DLR but thought he was trying to hard and did not think he related well with the big audience. I remember someone interupted one of his skits and it seemed like it totally threw him off.

I later was able to catch DLR solo in a small club on Hampton Beach in NH and thought he was great. The crowd was so close to him so he had no choice but to do actual interaction. I think Sam seems more natural sometimes because nothing with him is planned as far as the show goes. I know they follow a set list but he goes with the show. It seems like DLR tries to script everything sometimes. My best DLR shows have been in small clubs where he had no choice but to interact. DLR is still a great entertainer though.
