Not really that big of a deal. Happens all the time. You'd probably be surprised at how many of these dim-bulbs are actually playing the same game. Some that you actually correspond with and believe.

Gives one a whole lot more appreciation for FORD, huh? At the very least he plays the game with some degree of honesty.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. I think it's ridiculously hypocritical for moderators and some people to get their little panties in a bunch about threads like the recent bunch regarding Venom Thrust and Eddie because they're "personal" yet let other VH-related threads get hijacked and derailed with endless nonsensical bullshit from obvious trolls.

I've always said if you're going to let the kids run amuck in the playpen, fine, go full tilt and take the breaks off, don't be mamby-pamby about it and pick and chose what topics and people to allow to go nuts and what to restrict. But if you're going to go under some pretense of running a "moderated" board, than fucking show some consistency and moderate fairly and evenly with some sort of logical guidelines.

If they shut down every thread for the reasons you submit, the idiots will get every thread shut down. I suggest trying the ignore feature. It works pretty well.

I don't have a problem ignoring someone or any particular thread, I have a problem with other threads getting shut down at the drop of a hat for bullshit reasons while a thread like the one about tour rumors goes on for 15+ pages mostly filled with garbage from some reject from a John Waters movie.

I guess when the site owner crosses the line to openly admitting he doesn't give a shit about the band that his site is built around, and gleefully collecting money from advertisements and dopes looking for the ability to "donate" to the site for the ability to use custom avaters, I shouldn't be surprised.
