Is it ok if I say that Ed looks good and that it's a cool pic? Or will I get criticized for doing so?

    Kewl...

BTW, just thought I'd give a heads up to everyone to look out for an ad that I did for Jeff @ vanhalenstore.com that is supposed to appear within the pages of the interview with Ed. Just had to brag a bit and pimp my good friend Jeff's business...

    Carry on...
"20 minutes (late to work)? Shit. Last year I woke up three weeks too late.
My advice is to go for the alien abduction story. Look bemused, dishevelled and on the verge of tears as you recount your story of intrusive and degrading medical tests.
Worked for me anyway. I still have colleagues asking me what it is like to fuck a green womanoid with seventeen breasts.
Alternatively just walk in and inform everyone that alcoholism is indeed a disease and that they should be less judgemental and perhaps a little more supportive."

"something tells me that after the nuclear holocaust, there'll be twinkies, cockroaches, and a dave vs. sammy argument going on somewhere".

i think we should all rejoice that ed looks to be healthy and happy again...

when i met him in 2004 i had a chance to tell him that i was glad he was healthy (from the cancer)...

i feel the same way now again

The photo does give one high hopes.

in all honesty, i could care less if ed records another note or plays another note...let him be healthy and live his life...

with regards to "pimpin his gear"...you'd be doing it too if they had a "servoguy" guitar (again those frankie replicas are not for the average person...noone seemed to have an issue w/ clapton and SRV doing it)

Oh boy! Another transcription to AC/DC's "You Shook Me All Night Long"! (yawn)
I must have twenty Guitar mags in my basement with that transcription. C'mon, guys, I know it's a classic with a great solo and all that, but please pick a different AC/DC song for once.
At least they didn't pair it with "Ain't Talkin' About Love". I think I've got about a dozen of those already.

People sure did not mind when Ed was pimping his EBMM, 5150, Wolfgang, 5150 II, 5150 combo amp and his Kramers. Yeah he was playing and recording music but he was still making money off his product. Shilling is shilling. Everybody who was in the band has done it. I remember reading Mike's interviews about Yamaha basses. Any good businessman will go out and support their latest product.

Great picture and here is hoping he is getting healthy. Compare this to the Ross Haflin cover pic and its night and day.
