ed's doing ok...but has that fixed anything?

ed's doing well i assume...psyched that he's getting his life together.

but since mike probably won't be on bass if they tour...has that solved anything in the hearts of the die-hard fans that want a FULL reunion?...i don't think so...

will people still stay away if mike isn't on bass even with a healthy ed?...i think they might...i might...

thoughts?

There's nothing more I'd love to see than the original four, but I'll be there til the end, no matter what. Even if it was just Ed and Al.

it's been debated a lot on these boards, but if dave is on board, it will be enough for a lot of people just to be able to see ed and dave together onstage again... the complete classic lineup is ideal, obviously, and who knows, maybe that will happen afterall, but i don't think it will be a dealbreaker for a lot of people (although it is for brett!

)...

if a deal with dave falls through, a tour with sammy would probably do worse than '04 b/c will feel like they got that reunion tour already (not bashing sammy by any means), and a tour with gary or a new singer would probably go nowhere but theaters at best...

He just got out of rehab! Give it a while, part of a good rehab is putting your life back together, and reconnecting with people that your problem has affected! mending fences I like to call it! You can never count anything out with this group of guys!
