How a Dave/Mike reunion should happen!!!

Heres my idea how VH should get Mike back, and I'm saying this as a Van Hagar fan.
Since Mike is with Sammys band on tour and close with Sam, I think if Mike is ever invited back to the band, he wont come back unless Sammy does too.

I just have the feeling Mike wont come back alone, even if hes offered a lot of money.

Heres how it should happen-
Mike and Sammy go to "5150" to meet a sober Eddie and Alex, maybe Dave.
Sammy gives his "blessing" that this will work.
Sammy tells Eddie "Its not about the money, its not about nostaliga, just make it work".
Sammy says "Look after Mikey, but look after no. 1 (yourself). Give the fans what they've wanted for years and give the bands legacy a happy ending".

Then Dave, Eddie, Alex and Mike make the anouncement that a record is to be recorded, then a tour.

NO TOUR FIRST!!!! A NEW CD PLEASE!!!!

Everyone then is happy, even Sammy.

We'll see what happens. I personally think Mike wont go back, cause of his friendship with Sam. If Sam was invited back....Mike would too. The Dave scenerio is a different deal.

Sam wouldn't be much of a friend if he gave Mike a hard time about doing it. Mike has been a part of VH for about 35 years. Sam had his reunion tour with the boys, if they wanted to do one with Dave and invited Mike, he should be able to do it with a clear conscience.

Now, Mike might decide that he doesn't want to do it, but that should be a decision completely independent from Sam.

If the classic lineup were to reunite, why in the hell would Sammy's blessing be necessary? First off, he's said several times they should do it.
But, why in the hell would Sam need to tell Ed "it's not about the money, it's not about nostalgia, just make it work."?
If Sam's not a part of it, he should have zero say in the matter. On whether or not Mike does it, and on what the four others would be doing it for, how they would do it or anything else.
Everybody here knows I'm a supporter of both eras of Van Halen, and I like Hagar. But he's not the "Jesus" of Van Halen. He needs to shut up and sing if Van Halen reunites with Dave.

Mike doesn't need Sam's "blessing". I believe that Mike would do a reunion for the fans. He knows that is what we want. I also believe that it would have to be the right time. As in a sober Ed. It couldn't be like the 04 tour.
