"1408"-The New Stephen King Film...
Bear in mind this comes from a Stephen King short story and that Hollywood has done an excellent job of fucking up the translation of his works to film, this still looks promising. John Cusack and Samuel L. Jackson star in the film, so maybe...
The story originally appeared in the "Everything's Eventual" collection, from a couple years ago.

In related King news, I just read that Frank Darabont (director of Shawshank & Green Mile films) is directing a film based on King's short story, "The Mist." I am pretty sure that is from Skeleton Crew.

"The Mist" is one of King's greatest tales (nobody does the end of the world like King). It's one story that couldn't have been done before CGI.
Anyway, for those of you who've never read it, get on it ASAP. It's a long, short story but you can read it in an hour and then it will stick in your head for a while.
