What are your plans for the summer?

Mine was to go see VAN HALEN in concert, but that got shot out of the water.

I'm gonna do alot of fishing, see alot of concerts, look at a bunch of beautiful girls in bikinis, eat some bar-b-q, and drink a shit load of cold beer at the lake.

I'm getting married and going to Tahiti for 2 weeks.

My hope is to take the boys and I to Busch Stadium and Comerica Park, but with this alleged "War for Oil" not having the desired effect, we'll have to see...

Can't count on my brother-in-law to pony up for gas money.

I think i'll drink a six'er at the beach and wear dark sunglasses and look at the chicks so my wife can't tell what I'm doin!Or does she know exactly what I'm up to since she also wears dark sunglasses?

We've got a summer place on a lake here in Mass. Much of my summer consists of being there with a whole lot of swimming, waterskiing, and mountain biking mixed in.

Do as much as possible with my kids. Then in August, three of my friends, my sister, and I are going to the beach for a few days.



After that I'll be ready for some football.

I'm visiting the family in WV this summer. I'm taking a road trip alone. I'm also camping and rafting at some point and of course attending many concerts. I shoot from the hip generally so whatever comes up i'll do.

Not a whole hell of a lot going on for me this summer. A few plans;

Goin' up to Lake George in a few weeks for a friend's wedding.

Doing a few camping weekends with friends.

Might be going to Vegas in August (hopefully).

Last two weeks of July we'll be chillin on the Cape. Got the same cottage we've had the last two years (this'll be our second year doing 2 weeks), it's about 150 yards down a private dirt road to a private section of the beach on the sound side, which has a bit warmer water. We do the same weeks as my wife's sister and her husband/two kids, they stay on the same little dirt road right at the beach. So it's a nice big family thing.

Not a beach guy myself, but we have a system - we leave the house nice and early, my wife and kids take a left to the beach, I take a right to the car and head to the golf course. I get back right as the little one is ready for her nap, so while she naps, I nap in the comfort of central air

The Corona and Sam's Summer brew flow like water, and every meal is on the grill.

I am VERY much looking forward to it.

A class (7am? Oh god...), lots of work, plenty of camping along Lake Superior, golf, tennis, and flying model airplanes. Summer seems to be about two months too short, I think.

I am going to be unexpected unemployed this summer as my company is closing their offices in my town and moving our jobs to the corporate offices in MN. They are giving us a decent severance package and my hubby is encouraging me to take advantage and spend the summer with the kids which is what I'm preparing myself to do. I say preparing because I've worked since I was 12 starting with babysitting and was working full time by the time I was 17. But laying by the pool, going to the zoo and museum, riding bikes as well as completing some projects around the house shouldn't be too hard to get used to.

Well lets see, what are my plans.

I will be:

1. Unscrewing this new job I decided to take.

2. Trying to keep our new baby occupied so that my wife doesn't run off on us. He's a handful, or four...

3. Taking a full load of college. Four classes, 12 credits, and all will be completed in about a month, do you guys think I will have lots of homework?

4. Continue getting the condo (dont ask, my wife bought it before we were married) ready to be sold by the beginning of winter.

5. Praying for more sleep.

6. I get to see Rush in July, thats my vacation.

7. I will be by myself for about a month during the summer as well. School is out and my wife is going up to Idaho, she only has two online classes to teach so she can get away.

With all that written down im not really looking forward to anything other then July 23rd.
