Hello all. I was wonderingif anyone has any shots of Ed's Rasta Kramer from the Diver Down Tour. Here is an example. Any help is certainly appreciated!

It is a Kramer and if I remember right it was originally purple. It isn't painted, though, its just covered with a bunch of different colored tape.

It's true that Ed just put Stripes (it's not coated) onto the purple Fender, but that guitar, the one that appears in the two links above, is called pacer. The thread opener was asking about the rasta guitar, which has nothing to do with pacer:

See, it's different.

This guitar was pretty seldom performed on, so there aren't too many pics around.

The purple guitar with colored tape is a Kramer Pacer, but it's not the "Rasta" guitar. Here's a shot of the Rasta... there is a better version of this pic out there somewhere, as well as some different ones from this backstage shoot.

i would say i a fan of the mini les paul's. i remember wanting one of those when they first came out. they were always on display at manny's music in nyc .

Just to clarify as well, the purple guitar with all the tape IS a Kramer Pacer as well. The stripes aren't painted on. Yes a different guitar from the Rasta one, but they're both Kramers. The Rasta one looks like a Pacer Special, and the purple one looks like a Pacer Imperial.
