lol. Thanks for these craig. Love British humor. I remember one skit called the "Idiot Olympics". One of the events was called the matchbox hurdles i believe.

The "idiot" starts running up to the matchbox's laid across the track. When he gets up to the matchbox's, he realizes he hasn't built up enough speed to "hurdle them. So he stops, goes back even further(to build up more speed of course) starts running towards the hurdles again and doesn't even achieve a 1/16 of "air". Knocks down all the matchbox's.Man, i think i pissed myself i was laughing so hard.

That would be the "Upperclass Twit of the Year" contest. Just watched it again last week. That is the funniest Python sketch I've ever seen. I'll always thank my Mom and PBS for allowing me to watch Monty Python back in the 70's.

Thanks ddzavis. Wasn't 100% sure on the title. Yea, watched a lot of PBS in the 70's myself. Faulty(sp) Towers was another one . Correct?

And of course there was Benny(they show boobies on tv) Hill.

About two months ago, the complete Flying Circus series finally got its DVD release here in Germany. Bought it immediately and spent the following week watching. Nothing beats Monty Python! You can watch it over and over again and still find it hilarious although you know every single sketch.

Fawlty Towers is another of those series I can watch over and over again, and I never get tired of it. By the way, don't mention the war!

"Listen: Don't mention the war, I mentioned it once, but I think I got away with it all right! [...] Wait a moment, I got a bit confused here. Sorry, I got a bit confused 'cause everyone keeps mentioning the war!!"

    "We did not start it!"

    "Just a flesh would....c'mon!"

Oh, the hours I spent as a young one watching The Flying Circus and the movies. A six pack and Monty Python made for many nights of my youth well spent.

Here's a tidbit of utterly useless info....

The unwanted e mails we get daily trying to sell us 3 hour orgasms and such are named after none other than the monty sketch "Spam"....

The Pythons are all pervasive, omniprescent and omnipotent.

In fact, they are what i have instead of god.
A man could lose himself in a country like this.
