I'm sure alot of you forgot about this little ditty. It kinda makes me laugh looking back on it. I'm sure Sam is emabarssed to hell that he did it.

Sammy riding around on motorcycle, clips of Sly arm-wrestling grease-monkeys. Pure 80's guys! If Sam were to crank into this one, I'm not sure whether I'd shit on myself or die laughing. It's a good tune, I love the part when Sam sings, "And when the heart, gets pumped up for the gold!" Great range there.

It's just so dated. Just like VOA.

Like I said, I'm sure Sammy wouldn't mind if all records and evidence of this were destroyed. Of course, that soundtrack made alot of jack because Kenny Loggins had that "Meet Me Half-way" tune.

I still like listening to it here or there.
But if my friends heard me playing it, they would vomit. The last time I played it during a softball tournament about eight years back, someone said,
"What the fuck? Is that that song from 'Rocky'?"

I thought the video was cool too! I like the guitar playing in it by Sammy, and I remember reading that EVH played bass on it.

Sammy didn't write the lyrics to it. It was written by Giorgio Moroder.

Hey Yankee Rose! Apparently Sam's stance on writing lyrics stiffened as time passed. I remember he was pissed to high heaven when they brought in someone to write lyrics for "Between Us Two". He wasn't about to sing someone else's lyrics then. I guess back in '87 everything was so peachy that he didn't care.

Think Sam would have beat Sly? Probably not. He looked about a buck ten in the vid.

Doucet I think Sammy didn't mind singing a song someone else wrote because it was just one song for soundtrack.

That's just a guess though.

I don't think Sammy could really beat Sly in a armwrestling match either! ( Sorry Sammy!)

Mainly because Sly is in really good shape .

You guys are brutal. I actually like that song, and have listened to it a few times while workin out ( you know..it's got that 'inspirational' feel a la Survivor songs). Yeah, I will admit the video was sort of a cheesefest though.
