That's what I've been sayin all along. Why should we continue to lose more and more kids trying to help them? We've done all we can, it's up to them now.

Seriously, do you guys want to base your foriegn policy opinions based on the writings of a Hollywood screenwriter? From Santa Monica? A City where you can be arrested for smoking on the beach?

Look, the next phase of the plan is to start withdrawing troops and cut our numbers starting in the Fall and lower the numbers to half of the pre-build up. We're going to start negotiating with local militias and the areas of security the Iraqi army can't handle we're going to turn over to them.

I think we should pull everyone but Special Forces (and a division of mixed forces) out of Iraq. Everyone needs to understand a couple of things. First, if we fuck up the timing of our withdrawl we will put events in motion that will insure that the kids graduating from the Fifth Grade next month will be drafted to fight and die in Iraq in about eight or nine years. Second, we aren't leaving the Persian Gulf. We're still going to have all kinds of forces in the area to guard oil production, JUST AS WE HAVE HAD SINCE 1980.

I think the important thing to remember is that no matter which tin horn dictator controls Iraq or Iran or Quwait or Saudi Arabia, the oil will flow. Power and greed are what drives the political upheavel in that region. Oh you'll hear alot of talk about religion, but make no mistake, it's money.

Do you think Bin Laden attacked with WTC over religion? The WTC represented to him all that was corrupt with the US. It was about money and power.

Whoever winds up on top will sell oil to the worlds #1 customer. Bank on it.
