For some artists, it's just what they do, they'd rather die than stop performing live.
If I don't respond to you it means I have you on ignore, which means you are a douchenozzle.

Emperor Brett - "I can't believe you guys are analyzing song-by-song Van Halen III? What next, analyzing the script of Stroker Ace looking for some shred of Citizen Kane?"

David Lee Roth did the impossible. He made Van Halen better. Deal with it!

Yeah Buddy Rich was a time bomb for years. If he had retired I never would have saw him.

    It's in Portsmouth.

In all seriousness, though. It's on a tiny ass side street in the middle of downtown Portsmouth, NH. Holds maybe 900 people.

Al Van Bundy is spot-on with the capacity. It is an historic theater in Portsmouth, NH, that seats 900 people. I served on the "Development Committee" of the Music Hall many years ago--which meant I called up businesses and begged them to donate money. I actually saw Lindsey perform at the Music Hall in support of one of his solo projects. He cranked the solo to "Go Your Own Way" as though he were playing MSG.

Artists almost always marvel at the acoustics of the hall. Brandi Carlile played a "pin drop" show there at some point in the past 10 years. She and her band played with no microphones and no amplification. Fortunately no one in the audience had a cough, nor did anyone bring a baby, so the performance worked.

It's a special place to see a show. Just try to make sure your seat isn't behind one of the several giant poles that decorate the hall.
