Pretty damn lucky.

Ever since I was a kid my biggest fear in life has always been getting paralyzed....it's got to be hell on earth. I wish spinal cord research would get more attention.

Good for him for wanting to go surfing again....I wouldn't.....but....surely he must know the risks involved with surfing to begin with

It would if the Religious Neo-Cons would understand that embrionic stem cell research is NOT murdering a life. Especially considering the embrios to be used are due to be LITERALLY thrown away. Not stolen, bought from people, etc; as has been suggested. They'd be donated by the people they are harvested from. They are going to be pitched in the trash, just like you and I would throw away a piece of paper.

If people are truly Pro-Life; shouldn't that include ALL lives, not just the one's that they select as worthy. I mean, was Christopher Reeves life not JUST as important as that of an unborn baby?? Think of what this world COULD be today had Christopher Reeve been cured by a discovery through embrionic stem-cell research???
