Welp. Looks like I'm taking ye ol plunge. Been with this girl for a year and a half and we've been living together for a year. Things have been going very well and I'm very happy and excited about this. We're looking for a June 2008 date. My goal is to slip some VH in the wedding day somehow. It WILL get done.

Congratulations dude! If you wants some ideas how to slip some VH into the big day, I have a few, most of these I did myself.

1.The Rehearsal Dinner: Reserve a restaurant or bar that has a VH cover band.

2.The Wedding: If your fiancee is a VH fan too, she could wear a red, black & white garter (you can have one custom made) and tuck a VH keychain (old or new) in it. When it's Love or Love Comes Walking In are perfect wedding songs.

3.The Reception: Have buffalo wings cooked in Mad Anthony's Hot Sauce on the menu and Serve Cabo Wabo tequila.

4.The Honeymoon: Go to Cabo San Lucas (it's the most beautiful place I've ever been to), and go to Sammy's Cabo Wabo Cantina

Here's the easiest way to get some VH into the the wedding day without ANYONE knowing:

...prearrange with the organist to play a slight rearrangement of the keyboard intro to "When It's Love" at some point right before the bridal processional.

It works, especially on a HUGE 80+ pipe organ.

My ex and I pulled it off, and the slight grins from roughly 20 people in a congregation of almost 400 that got it was priceless.

Of course...I DID say it was my "ex". Then again, the catastrophic breakup a mere two years later had NOTHING to do with anything VH-related...
