I like his legato. I'm trying to learn some more of it, but it I hate the examples I've seen at websites, magazines, etc. I found a Petrucci example, but I had to watch it like 10 times before I could figure out what he was doing. I seem to be pretty poor at slurring too. The note sort of "dies" as soon as I shift. I've only been tinkering with it for a couple weeks, which I guess means about 3 hours in my case! Ah, well.

Completely unrelated... My now-fiancée wanted a marquise cut for her diamond engagement ring. That style cut is sometimes referred to as "football" or "canoe" shaped, depending on the specific cut. I, however, preferred to describe it as a "Stewie-head."
