Talking on the phone with EVH for 45 minutes on August 21st 1995. Then meeting him in person the following week in Richmond, VA. Then, speaking with him there and him remembering who I was and hanging out like we were best buds. Usually, when you get VIP passes, they will be marked with either the radio station that acquired them, or the management co, etc. Mine were marked "EVH" which meant that he made those arrangements himself -- awesome.

I also had a photo pass for the show, so when Ed saw me in front of the barricade, he came right over and played right in front of me to make sure I got great pics.

That was a good day in my VH history.

If you like cool, rock music, check out REVERY. We've put out two albums, and an EP. We were signed back in '06 and toured the US (our single Popstar Wedding was all over the radio back then). Our latest album, Adora De Phonic is available on Itunes, Amazon, etc.

I have seen VH over 10 times in my life and most all of the shows were incredible. Saw the 2004 twice.(enough said) I would have to say being at my first VH show ever as well as being my first concert ever Aug 12th 1986. Worcester centrum 5150 tour. I was in the eighth grade and just completely awestruck. In fact I heard Alex play those simmons pads and I went out and saved the money doing odd jobs and bought a set a year later.

Last June I got to be on stage at the Sammy show here in Laconia NH and that was pretty damn cool. The singer in my VH tribute looks just like Sammy and we got a pic together. Sammy loved it! Mike also did a shot of Jack with my friend. Sooo many memories.

Oakland 2004. Right on the barrier in the middle. Sammy wore a hat that my bro made with the frankenstripes. Caught one of Eddie's picks during Eruption. Sammy signed my "Got Tequila" shirt.

April 2005. My restaurant hosted a local bay area tv cooking show. Cabo Wabo was the featured segment. Sammy showed up with his wife and Vic. Got to play guitar with Sammy and the host of the show and busted out the intro to "Cabo Wabo" and Sammy started singing.

September 2006. Opened a Mexican restaurant, and Sammy has donated memorabilia for my banquet room, appropriately called the "Cabo Wabo Room"
featuring of course the Cabo Wabo tequila.

Concert 2004- $375.00 Five star pass
Restaurant 2005- $cost to shut down for filming
Cabo Wabo Room Memorabilia 2006- $PRICELESS

I have two, my mom took me to see them for my birthday in 1984, I was 11, and just watching Eddie play like he does, changed my life forever. The second would be the DLR Eat 'Em and Smile tour, my friend and I wedged our way to the front row and Dave actually bent down and sang to us, touched my hand, then I caught one of his earrings. I have been to a lot of shows, Ozzy, AC/DC, Motley, Pantera, ect., but, none of them puts on a show like Van Halen, even in 2004, it was like 5150 all over again.

I don't know if it's my finest moment, but one that stands out so vividly is Ed's solo on the 5150 tour. I saw 2 of the 4 shows at the Worcester Centrum (Ma.) and I'll never forget Ed sitting up on the stage playing 316 (of course, we didn't know it as 316 then). That's one reason I love LWAN so much is because it captures the moment exactly as I remember it.

VH with Sam ('86-'96) - Incredible era....."We have renamed this town 'New Halen!'.
VH with Gary ('98) - Fucking disaster. WTF was that??
VH with Wolf/Dave ('12-'15) - Amazing comeback. Smokin' album and tours.

When Sammy and Alex held up my banner that I threw on stage during the Balance tour. I was going bonkers...too much that I forgot to snap a photo of it.

    I have a couple.

1st buying VH II and meeting the band at a record store meet and greet (and getting their autographs...pretty big for a 12 year old).

2nd the 1984 concert....hottest ticket of my senior year of high school...actually as far as high school goes....some pretty excellent concerts all around. Van Halen '81 & '82-Ozzy with Randy in '81, Rush '81, 82/83, Robert Plant '83, Iron Maiden....I digress

3rd...meeting DLR and sharing a drink with him in NYC...after his last solo tour in 2003/4 (my memory fails in my old age)....talked for about an hour...he was more down to earth than you'd imagine.
