My comment is for those drivers that think they are better and more deserving of getting to the front of the line than anyone else.

You know the type. The jerk that speeds along the side of traffic using the shoulder or merging lane as a fast lane just to cut someone off near the front.

If the are in that much of a rush, they should have left earlier.

Be nice to see them hit the guard rail one day.

I agree. I have seen a couple mental defectives trying to pull this stunt and it makes me want to turn over into the side lane and block them or sideswipe them....

But we're Canadian what do we know......if we all had guns...maybe....people wouldn't do that.....only in a perfect world....

I hate that too!! At least it is better in the States than in Italy. Visiting Italy (where motorcycles outnumbered automobiles) a couple years ago, I noticed that motorcyclists there follow no rules (in Florence, at least). They weave in and out of traffic ignoring all lane markings and concerns for safety.

I've always wondered, is it legal to drive down the middle of the lanes on your motorcycle in So. Cal.? I've never seen anyone do that before until I took a trip to San Diego. I've been there several times now for personal and business and every time I'm driving in traffic, someone is driving down the middle of the lane on their bike. I'm so tempted to open my door in front of one of them.

Drivers aren't much better here in Kansas City. Last week I was heading down the highway during rush hour and there was a car up ahead that was going quite a bit slower than everyone else. When I finally got up next to her, I looked over and realized she was reading a book while driving in rush hour. I looked at her for a few seconds and she never noticed. It wasn't a map, or a newspaper, or something you would pick up, look at, and put back down. It was a big, thick, book that you would sit at home and read!

Far as I know it is legal as long as the traffic has stopped. That can't do it if they traffic is moving, they have to use a lane.

If motorcyclists want the same privileges that car drivers have, the rules should apply equally. Just b/c a bike's smaller doesn't mean they should be able to cut through lanes like that.

Just thinking about those a-holes that cut in line is pissing me off!!!
