Kramer Re-issue Prices?

I noticed the price of the Kramer 1985 was 624.00 at Music 123 now it's up to over 1000.00, what's up with that? I was planning on getting one for that price. But there's no way I'm paying over a thousand. Other than MusicYo and Music123 does anyone know of any other stores that will be stocking them? And when will they be STOCKED. MusicYO always says they're on order but when the date finally comes for them to be stocked it's pushed back another month??? Also if you were to pick either the 1984 or 1985, which one would you get?

Music 123 posted the price wrong on their website is my guess. The guitars cost over $1000 everywhere else.

I wonder if the cost went up because it became a more affordable alternative to the Charvel Art Series?

I've been looking through some of these replica parts websites, and all of those parts are made well and available. You could just put one together, save a few hundred bucks, and in the end have one that was hand assembled--just like Ed's original 5150.
