we re studying "Eruption "in my college music class

i know im in art college and should dig my art classses but i love this class. i already got to write an essay on the frankenstrat and tommorow we ll be discussing and listening for the classical and blues influences in Eruption.we ll be using a chapter from a book called "runnin with the devil" /the classical and blues influence in modern heavy metal. you guys ever heard of this book? it has a huge section on edwards guitar solos and classical influences.ill pretty much be the assistant teacher tommorow since im bringin in all the listening material lol. im bringing in Eruption and the guitar solo from London 1980. to be honest what ive played for them so far they liked. anyway ill let you guys know how it goes.

bro ive been drawing naked chicks for almost 2 years now lol. anyway the class was cool. i got to co teach which was fun. first we listened to older musical virtouosos like paganini and jazz pianist benny green. then we got into the modern guitar virtouoso ala edward, i got to explain about the variac,pinch harmonics,two handed tapping and whammy effects. actually people were intrested to hear it. noone freaked out over it but they were intrested and gave it a chance(a perk of college classes i think). the teacher borrowed vh1 and put it on the schools computer mp3files and the class required listening list.btw the book we used as the study aid is called "Running with Devil-Power,Gender,and Madness in Heavy Metal Music" the Edward chapter is called "Eruptions".
