Surprise Sammy Appearance in S.F. on Sun. 4/22/07

So a friend of mine went to go see Phil Lesh and Friends on Sunday here in The City. He was telling me there were a few surprise guests that showed up to play, one of which was Sammy Hagar. Bob Weir announced that his next door neighbor wanted to jam with them. All of a sudden, Sammy walked out. They proceded to do a 25 minute rendition of Dear Prudence. I thought it was pretty cool and thought I'd pass it along to everyone here.

I think as time goes by and Sam sees that Eddie has got his shit together, Sammy will reach out to him. From all of his comments, It's obvious that Sam misses the relationship they used to have. I also think that Eddie and Sam have the ability to write better songs right know then Eddie and Dave. I really liked the direction they were going in with Balance and Humans Being. I wish so much time hasen't passed, because there would have been a lot more kick ass VH music mad with Sam over the last 10 years. Not counting the 3 shitty songs from BOBW.
