Does anyome know where I can watch or get a copy of the amnsterdamn video that was banned from mtv? I have never seen it.

If you go to Google and do a video search, type in Amsterdam Van Halen. The video link should come up as the first search selection. Hope this helps!

What was so damn bad about it anyway? I've seen it a few times and I saw nothing to be banned. I think MTV just banned it because the lyrics were about dope.

sam rewrote the lyrics if I remember right, don't remember what the rework was but it was what MTV wanted at the time.

Because of your post you forced me to look up the lyrics to both songs and I was sure I would prove you wrong.

D'oh! Well, I guess you learn something new every day. I've always thought the "score me some panama red" line was "score me some heroin." I've never once heard 'panama red', always 'heroin'.

I also thought the Don't Tell Me line was "stone faced on heroin", not "score me some heroin."

All these years I've always wondered why Sam kept obsessing about heroin. I suppose I can use this next time I see the Misheard Lyrics thread floating around.
