I've been doing a bit of genealogy lately when I got bored and started searching under the surname Van Halen. I was pretty suprised to find a few Van Halen's from the 1600's and 1700's. And I actually found one Edward Van Halen from the 1770's in Scotland or England (can't remember which). I dunno, but it just seems funny to imagine some guy back then going around introducing himself as Edward Van Halen. If he only knew...

i used to work at the Board or Elections, and one afternoon I was bored as hell cuz I finished all my work. So I did a voter query and randomly inputed names. There are at least 5 different (all diff bdays and ages) Alex Van Halens. One is on Park ave, another in Manhatten and a couple in Queens here by me
